WHAT THE EMAIL CONTAINS eEvidence certifies the exact contents of any email sent by obtaining a unique fingerprint —a hash code— of its header and body, and of each attached file. WHO & WHERE IT HAS BEEN DELIVERED TO The email delivery transmission is recorded, including confirmation of email acceptance at destination, and the unique ID key your email has been identified with by the recipient's mail system. THE END All the above is included in a digitally time-stamped PDF file, unequivocally establishing the integrity of its contents and the exact date it was generated. |
The service can be used to legally certify the contents and delivery of an email, including attachments, or just its contents. It's up to you what you use it for.

Any email sent through eEvidence is carried through the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol RFC 2821 standard. |

eEvid certificates are issued as PDF files, the open standard file format published as ISO 32000-1:2008. |

The use of DNS wildcards follows the "The Role of Wildcards in the Domain Name System" RFC 4592. |

eEvid PDF files are digitally signed with an officially issued SHA1 digital signature, granting the file's content integrity. |

Fingerprints of the email body, header and attachments are obtained by the standard SHA-256 cryptographic hash function and are verifiable in countless public sites. |

A time-stamp provided by a Time Stamp Authority is encapsulated within the digital signature, unequivocally dating the email and its attached files. |

SMTP COMPLIANCE eEvidence mail servers fully comply with the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol shared by all professional mail systems, including Exchange, Postfix and Gmail. RELIABLE DELIVERY MANAGEMENT Delivery of emails on behalf of our users is not affected by SPF, DKIM and other anti-spam techniques. Any eventual delivery errors are accounted for and forwarded directly to the sender. SECURE FILE ARCHIVING Files we may store based on your license are encrypted using the same AES-256 standard as banks use to secure customer data. |
